We are always chasing the end result not stopping to enjoy and realize the journey on the way to your accomplishments. Thinking you aren't 'good enough' just yet, but I'm here to let everyone know you are exactly where you need to be and more than good enough even if it doesn't seem or feel like it.
Most people now a days have this vision of tall beautiful models, runways, cat walks,& latests photographers everywhere when they hear the word, “Fashion”. I, like to say, it is another way of showing, who we are & what we represent as an individual. The D.N.A. to each and every one of us from how we wear a shirt or what type of shoe you choose on your night out. From head to toe we show the world who we are. As, more and more each day are beginning to model their own sense of fashion as the new generations are going through a revolutionary movement. The digital fashion revolution. Social media continues to break barriers and boundaries in endless new strategies of how to put themselves out in the world from promoting your personal Instagram accounts by taking pictures of yourself in your favorite clothing brand, to a new company brand trying to get their product on a digital platform by having your website on the profile. To sharing your thoughts or outfits on Facebook and tagging friends or whoever you choose to see your post. Or taking a edited filter Snapchat for all your followers to see your OOTD (Outfit of the day). From seeing your favorite artist, designer, musician or best friend re-tweeting a pic of their brand.
Fashion hasn’t ever seen better days than now with this fast pace at your fingertips way of advertising or promoting and retailing. It allows us to see and make new ideas from just a quick ten minute browse of your social media. The digital way of showing expression. Just five years ago you would only hear stories of fashion shows, new collection releases or grand openings of a another brand up and coming by word of mouth; Thus, waking up today to open your smartphone and begin scrolling your day of socializing and communicating in the new world of instant visualization seeing what’s going on, in the opposite side of a state, country, or even continents. It is no contest to say how big of a impact this new digital era is applying and still creating new paradigm shifts for the fashion industry today let alone any industry in technology. Not only the high end fashion but the big streetwear brands, to smaller local brands are able to have a position in the new social media platforms. Making it much more accessible to putting new product on display in this massive world of displayed information.
Now, it is safe to say design and technology are taking new leaps making the fashion industry more fun and openly creativite. There's no telling what the imagination of a human mind is capable of ,but it's for sure progressing much quicker than any other era in history. Ecstatic for the near future and generations to come in fashion and design.
